It had a generous helping of volume in the nose and low, soft rails that concluded in a flyer swallow tail. There was also a vee concave through the tail to help with lift and squirt off the bottom. From my first wave it was evident that this board had no issues generating speed.
NEV Rippable 5'10 Yellow
Ripable is a staple to the Nev Custom’s range and my answer to the quintessential everyday high-performance board. From established surfers to masters, this shortboard is perfect for those wanting a board to match and enhance their skills.
I first designed this board at Firewire for Michel Bourez and Stu Kennedy in 2012 & 2013. Now, I’ve embraced this board in my contemporary collection.
A standard high-performance shortboard should be the foundation on which your surfing repertoire is built, and all other surfboards in your quiver are judged. For those days when it’s pumping, your board needs to be an extension of your body and ability; Ripable ticks these boxes.
This board features an advanced rocker profile, refined foil, and outline with a full-length single concave combined to offer maximum speed and response during the most critical angles of attack. You can expect a back-foot drive off the tail without compromising performance.
If you’re on, it’s on! If you can RIP, then this board is a must for your quiver.
Ripped on and trusted by names including: Thomas Woods, Sheldon Simkus, Teddy Robertson (7 years old), and Davyboy Gonzales.
