I LOVE Japan
My most fond memories are from 1983 to 1987 when I went there to shape surfboards and build the NEV brand. Subsequently, since 1997 NEV SURF apparel has been sold throughout Japan but the design team there inadvertently used some "rearry bad engrich" in the designs.
I have released this range because the original imagery I am repeating captures the innocence and joy of those dreaming about experiencing a real surfing life when living in the big city, many miles from the ocean.
Vintage NEV SURF apparel is sold on Etsy, which I found to be quite amusing until I realised that crew like you may want a piece of this somewhat kitschy fun too!.. So here it is. Have FUN!
